If you have multiple arcades, using the drop down menu at the top allows you to switch between your arcades. SEARCH BY LABEL: If you use tags/labels in your sessions, this is where you would filter them. Once you click on a label, only sessions with this particular label will be shown. OTHER FILTERS: In this section clicking on the View All Upcoming Reservations will show all upcoming booked sessions. FILTER BY EXPERIENCE TYPE: When clicking on a session type in this section, only sessions of that type will be shown for the time frame selected in the Search section. Note that you can click multiple Experience Types and you will see all sessions for the types selected. RESERVATIONS: This section will show all your sessions in the range chosen in the Search section. Note that these are sorted from most recent to the oldest. The first column shows if a session has been paid for (green check) or not paid for (red x) as well as if it’s been used (green check) or unused (red x). The second column will show if it’s an Ended Session or if it’s an upcoming Reservation. Clicking on one of these will bring up the session details allowing you to change certain things about the session (including launching the session from there). If the session has not been used, click on the time will allow you to change the time/date. Clicking on the customer name (if one is attached) will allow you to access all customer information that would normally be found from the Customers section. DISK ICON: If you click on the red disk icon, you will be prompted to download an xls file of the reservations showing in this filter. GOODS: If you sell goods through SynthesisVR, then the history of sold goods will be shown here (again based on the search criteria in the Search section).

  1. SELL TICKET: This is the button you would press to bring up the internal booking pop up so you can book a session in advance.
  2. ARCADE NAME: If you manage multiple arcades, clicking this will bring up a dialog to choose the location you want to manage.
  3. LIFE PRESERVER: Clicking this will bring up some various local settings for the Your Arcade Section. Purple is on, Blue is off. Clicking on the life preserver icon will remove the settings.

    ​3a: Repeat Sounds Alarm: When a customer chooses the “Request Help” in the headset, the alarm on the dashboard can be set to either repeat or not repeat.
    3b. Disable Button Hints: When you hover over buttons in the dashboard, having this turned on will provide hints about what each button does.
    3c. Maximized Session Controls: When this is turned on, the buttons in the stations will expand and contract to depend on if the cursor is hovering over them. When set to off, this will keep all the buttons maximized.
    3d. Show Panic Button: This will display a panic button that, when pressed, will end all sessions and display a warning to customers in the headset.
    3e. Update VR Stations: This will allow you to Update VR Stations remotely.
    3f: Voice Notice On Help Request: You can change the “needs your attention” text to something more suitable
    3g: Play Audio File on Session End: This allows you to change the audio file that plays at the end of a session.
  4. COMMAND CALLS: This allows you to run various Command Calls through the interface. Please refer to https://synthesisvr.com/knowledge-base/command-calls/ for more details about this.
  5. GEAR ICON: This will allow you to lock out the “Content Events” button on the Access Point app of the stations.
  6. SERVER STATUS ICON: This indicates if the server is in a good state. Green is good, red is bad. Note that if the server is not detected, you will see an additional warning as well.
  7. THE STATIONS: This section shows all stations currently in the subscription. New stations will not be seen here until they have been subscribed.
  8. STATION GEAR ICON: This will bring up various station controls. You can close this by clicking on the X button in the top right. This menu can additionally be brought up by clicking on the name of the station.

    8a. Recording: This will bring up the recording menu to start capturing

    8b. PC Processes: This will show you the current processes running on the station

    8c. Games Usage: This will show you currently used games during the current session
    8d. Windows Logoff: This will log the current user out of the station
    8e. Shutdown: This will shut down the specific station
    8f. Start PC: This will allow you to start the station if you have Wake on LAN set up. You can check this link for further details: https://synthesisvr.com/knowledge-base/setting-up-wake-on-lan/
    8g. Speak: You can type something in the space available and when you click on the “Speak” button, the customer will hear a text-to-speech translation of the text you typed.

  9. STATION STATUS ICON: This will indicate is running the SynthesisVR Access Point. Green is good, nothing will show if the Access Point is not recognized as running.
  10. EXPERIENCE TYPES: These are all the experience types that you have available on that particular station. When you click on these, a menu of duration options will appear. This is generally how you might start a walk-in Session. Note that stations not available for this type of experience would be hidden and to select multiple stations for this walk-in session you will need to click on the corresponding experience types on the other stations you are looking to add to this session. You can “turn off” this menu by clicking on the Experience Type.

  11. STATION IN SESSION: This is what a station in session would look like. It shows the current time remaining, customer name, and various controls for the running session. You have the following options for this station:

    11a. Session: Clicking this will bring up the Session information and will allow you add customer information, take payment, add notes, and do a few admin functions.
    11b. Give Bonus: You can add up to 10 minutes of bonus time to a session (which will be announced to the customer). Or you can take up to 30 minutes away (not announced to the customer).
    11c. Extend: This will allow you to extend the session by times that were set within the Work Rule. Note that this can be set to less than the total number of station within a session so only some stations get extended.
    11d. Move PC: If something happens to the station (cable breaks, PC breaks, headset malfunctions, etc), you can use this to move the session to another station. Time will continue after the move.
    11e. Change Game: This will allow you to change the game across all the stations within a session. You can also limit which stations will have their game changed. This is great for multiplayer game changes.
    11f. End Session: You can manually end the session using this button. Note that this can be set to less than the total number of stations within a session so only some stations get their session ended.

  12. CURRENT SESSIONS: This is the currently active session or sessions. If you click on the Session button, this will bring up the Session information and will allow you to add customer information, take payment, add notes, and do a few admin functions.
  13. UNPAID SESSIONS: If there are any unpaid sessions, this is where they will show up. Clicking on the Session button will allow you to take payments for the session.
  14. UPCOMING SESSIONS: This will list all upcoming sessions. It will be broken down by session type and will also have a section for all sessions grouped together. In both sections, sessions will be listed in chronological order. If you click on the Session button, this will bring up the Session information and will allow you to add customer information, take payment, add notes, and do a few admin functions. Additionally, if you click on the time of the session you will be able to move the session to a new time. Lastly, if you click on the customer name (if a customer is attached to a session), you will be able to access customer-related information including everything you might normally do from the Customer’s Section of the Dashboard.

  1. DASHBOARD: This is the page you’re looking at. You can reach this page by clicking on it from any page in the SynthesisVR Dashboard section
  2. YOUR ARCADE: This is the section you and your staff will likely spend most of your open hours in. You will see the day’s upcoming and completed sessions here as well as be able to launch session, change games, etc. You can access this from the side bar on the left or from this main Dashboard page in the button in the top left of the main area.   3. RESERVATIONS: This will take you to your Reservations page where you can see all upcoming and previous reservations. You can also filter and export reservations from this page as well. You can access this from the side bar on the left or from this main Dashboard page in the button in the bottom left of the main area.
  4. SCAN QR CODE: Pressing this will active the camera on your device allowing you to scan a QR code which will prompt you to assign to a customer if no customer is attached or will look up the customer if the code is attached to a customer (via membership). You can activate this by clicking on it from any page in the SynthesisVR Dashboard section.
  5. CUSTOMERS: This will take you to your Customers page where you can look up customers, add balances or credit cards, add notes, check waivers, sell memberships, and export all your customer data. You can access this from the side bar on the left or from this main Dashboard page in the button in the top right of the main area.
  6. ADMINISTRATION: This will gain you access to all the back end settings for SynthesisVR including setting Work Hours, Discounts, Memberships, as well as the portal of licensing games and setting up Game Categories, and subscribing and setting up VR Stations, plus setting up various widgets including Booking and API.  You can reach this page by clicking on it from any page in the SynthesisVR Dashboard section. Note that is is only available to Admins.
  7. REPORTS: Clicking on this will present you with 2 options, Financial and Usage. Financial reports will show you a break down of the days financial activities, income and method of payment, and you can filter by date and arcade (if you have multiple arcades). Usage reports will show you the breakdown of Work Rules usage, Durations, and, of course, game usage. This can also be filtered by date and arcade (if you have multiple arcades). You can reach this page by clicking on it from any page in the SynthesisVR Dashboard section. Note that is is only available to Admins.
  8. WAIVERS: Once set up, this would bring you to the waivers section for customers to sign waivers. This is ideally done on a tablet or laptop that would sit in a front area for customers to fill out and would open a new tab. When the new tab is opened, you can close the dashboard tab so as not to give customers access to your Dashboard. The Waivers page can only be access from the Dashboard by clicking on the bottom right link in the Dashboard page.
  9. Clicking on the person icon will present you with an option to change your profile information including your name as displayed in the top left, the primary email attached to the account, and change your password. You will also be able to access your open tickets (those that are attached to the primary email) and log out.

  10. THE 3 DOT MENU: When clicked this will bring up some additional items and is content specific and will changed based on what section of the Dashboard you are in. The one thing you can do across all sections is change the language of the Dashboard. And, of course, link to our Facebook group.
  11. THE “HAMBURGER” MENU (or the three lines menu): This will expand or shrink the left side menu you more screen real estate to us. Note that this will also happen when you click the 3 Dot Menu in the top right. Note that if you hover each of the icons, the name of the button will show up making it easier to identify what each button represents. You can either click the icon or the name to go to that section.
